Every elevator should travel as fast as possible without slamming into the floor—nobody wants to imagine what happens when you crash at full speed. For the user, this analogy makes it clear: the Intend Elevator seatpost slows down toward the bottom thanks to internal end-stroke ramp-up. This is made possible by Safe Space Technology, a sealed air volume at the base of the post. The resulting ramp-up works much like the lower legs of a suspension fork. Fully extended, there is only ambient pressure inside. As it compresses, the trapped air volume builds progression—not an excessive amount, since it starts at atmospheric pressure, but enough to feel a distinct cushion. Unlike other seatposts, the lower section isn’t open to the frame with holes where grease and dirt can continuously mix; it’s completely enclosed and sealed—a true safe space. The benefits speak for themselves.

What many people don’t realize is that a standard seatpost pushes the air in its lower section out into the frame. Usually, that’s not an issue. But when the post needs to extend quickly, it has to draw that air back out of the frame. If openings in the post or frame are too small, everything goes smoothly up to about 90% of the travel, and then the post stalls before fully extending—press the lever again a moment later, and suddenly it goes all the way up. Magic? No, just physics, and something the Intend Elevator solves.

• Progression: subtle yet effective—lets you drop the post effortlessly; you feel the end of the stroke, but without any harsh bottoming out. To ensure it feels just right for everyone, the seatpost can, should, and must be fine-tuned to your riding weight by adjusting the air pressure. Upon your order the dropper post will be factory pressurized according to your rider weight.
• Closed Housing: nothing gets out. We lubricate with oil, just like in forks, rather than grease. Even years down the line, everything keeps running smoothly.
• …and nothing gets in: The Elevator post is shielded from dust, dirt, and water that inevitably finds its way down through the frame and into the seatpost.
• Self-Bleed: All you have to do is ride and the cartridge is bleeding itself.
• Smooth: thanks to double internal bushings, oil lubrication, and hand-polished surfaces, the post always runs smoothly. Dropping the saddle directly under heavy, off-axis loads—it handles it effortlessly.
