“Coil-like performance” is often advertised but rarely achieved when it comes to air spring rear shocks - The Intend Hover Gamechanger lives up to this claim!
The project started on a blank page as the goal was to do things differently. Intend Hover Gamechanger shocks are designed around a separated damping and air spring assembly to keep heat management in check. The negative air chamber is way larger compared to more traditional designs and set up to a slightly higher pressure to improve suppleness.
A port between both air chambers allows fine adjustments instead of using a common bleed valve. A linear spring curve is made possible by using increased air volume. Ramp-up is also tuneable by using volume reducers that are changed in a matter of minutes. Feedback from team riders inspired us to add a lockout mechanism.
A flip lever makes it possible to completely lock the damper and gives you a hardtail-like feel. A pretty awesome feature if local trails are only accessible by gruelling fire road climbs.
Can I mount this shock on frames with shockyokes ?
Yes, the Hover shock has normal 15,08mm shock eyes, same like Fox and Rock Shox
Does this shock has a lockout ?
Yes, there is a Lever called Gamechanger, which stiffens your rear wheel 100%, providing best pedal plattform and does not soak any energy out of your legs.
Can I change the length of the shock later or the Gamechanger feature later ?
Unfortunately we cannot offer swap or chaning of the parts after purchase. The reason is simple: if we make it to cheap, we would end up in building, rebuilding, exchanging used shocks over and over, to give a second hand buyer the possibility for a cheap shock. If we make it to expensive, people think we are crazy and greedy. We want to earn money with selling shocks.
Can I change the setup of the damping later, to suit to other frames ?

Can I ride downhill with this shock?
Yes, there is no limit for the intended use
Is my length offered?
Here is a list of offered length, all shocks can be fittet with the travel reduction spacers to achieve e.g. 57,5, 60 or 62,5mm out of the original 45/55/65/75mm stroke. The progression does not get increased with adding this spacer.
