You consider yourself a purist or a weight weenie? Or maybe both? Meet your perfect match - the Samurai CC
Get out the precision scales and let the weigh-in begin. This fork is something special. If you want to build your lightest full suspension bike yet, look no further. Thanks to an updated crown design the size and weight of the dropouts have been reduced significantly. Apart from saving weight and looking clean and minimalistic this measure also reduces friction on the bushings due to a lesser amount of leverage, resulting in smooth performance and naturally less wear and tear. Ultimately this means you're getting a a product which simply works, encouraging you to ride more and worry less.
Also noteworthy and responsible for the weight loss are the carbon steerer provided by ND Tuned as well as the carbon hose guides by HOPP Carbon Parts.
Disclaimer: Due to the carbon manufacturing the diameter can turn out just a tad bit slightly wider. If you use very tight spacers they might not fit.
With only 1385g the Samurai CC is the lightest member in our fork line-up yet, that alone speaks for itself. For this fork we are utilizing the infamous Rock Shox Charger Raceday cartridge, which is an incredible, lightweight engineered piece of art.
How does the procedure for the Samurai CC look like?
For EU customers:
1. You acquire the RS cartridge at the dealer of your choice.
2. You send this cartridge to us, we assemble the fork into a finished product and ship it to you!
For non-EU customers:
1. You acquire the RS cartridge at the dealer of your choice, let the cartridge ship to YOUR place.
2. You order a fork from us without cartridge and you make the installation of the cartridge yourself. Tools you need are: 24mm socket and 4mm allen wrench.
Why? - If you order a cartridge in Germany, and we ship it out of EU, we would be responsible for possible warranty cases for the cartridge, because we are the one sending it out of EU. And we cannot fullfill responsibility for others components.
Details for the RS cartridge:
RS number of the version without remote is: 00.4020.546.002
RS number of the version with remote is: 00.4020.546.003

Is this fork available with black lower stanchions?
This option is not available.
Can I change the brake mounting standard after purchase?
Edge, Flash and Infinity forks until end of 2021 share the same dropouts. You can choose between 180mm boost and non-boost, as well as 203mm boost and non-boost.
Dropouts used on Hero, Edge, Flash from 2022 are different and compatible with PM180 and PM203, both only in Boost.
Are 223mm brake mounts optional?
This option is not available. You can simply use normal brake adapters to make that combination work.
Are Intend forks safe to ride with 223mm rotors?
Yes! You can put any 223mm rotor on Edge, Flash and Infinity forks.
Is it possible to change the axle diameter after purchase?
This is not possible any more since beginning of 2022. You can either buy a 20mm dropout or a 15mm dropout.
Can I use a non-boost-hub?
Only on our Infinity forks, you can use 110×20 non-boost hubs, combined with the correct non-boost brake mount. 100x15mm hubs are possible with Boost-spacers.

Yes! By exactly 10mm.
Can I order this fork with a 1 1/8″ straight steerer or different offset ?
This option is not available.
What are the color options for Intend forks?
You can have any color as long as it is black anodized. We do not offer any other colors. Only black.
I’ve seen some different colors, do you offer these?
Color options other than black anodized are not available. The reason is, that anodizing in not-black causes so much troubles, that we cannot guarantuee a problem-free, nice looking product trough the whole range. When we sell products, we want to do it perfect, and need to skip all variations which are not “perfect”.
Where can I test this fork?
At the moment we have no test program. However, there are possibilities for the future.
What about torque cap compatibility?
All our forks are compatible with torque caps, except the Samurai models, due to their minimalistic dropouts.
